Bad Debt Personal Loans - Easy Way to Finance your Needs

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Tim_Kelly]Tim Kelly Bad debt is no more considered a blot on credit report of an individual. Lenders now know that majority of the people fall into bad debt trap for no fault of theirs. Many lenders now offer loan to people with default, arrears or bankruptcy. So even if you are going thorough a lean phase you can avail a bad debt personal loan for a variety of purposes like buying a car or going on a holiday. Borrowers, however, use bad debt personal loan mostly for paying off previous debts. In fact, previous bad debts are of big concern to any borrower and he wants to get rid of them as early as possible for different reasons. One reason may be that the debt was taken at a higher interest rate, which is crushing the borrower financially because of the larger outgo. On availing new personal loan at a lower interest rate, he can pay off those previous bad debts himself or can ask the new lender to do the job. Moreover one saves valuable time that goes waste in going around to visit the different lenders just to pay the installments. Those bad debts may also be impacting the creditability of a person adversely. To improve it, there is no other better way than to take [http://www.baddebtpersonalloans.co.uk/bad_debt_personal_loans.html]Bad debt personal loans. A better management of previous debts surely helps him in many ways. However, lenders usually become cautious while offering loan to such borrowers because of their previous bad debts. To assure the lender that he can safely lend the money, the borrower shall have to put some property as a collateral with the lender. Any property such as home, car or even a saving account serves as a collateral. When opting for a secured bad debt personal loan one makes use of the equity in the property without selling it. This enables the borrower in not only getting the desired rate of interest but the required amount as well. Usually lenders provide bad debt personal loans in a range of 5000 to 75000.If the borrower is in need of a higher amount then the lender will look for the value of the property placed as a collateral. Higher the value, higher the amount one may get as loan. Lenders offer loan to such borrowers for a period of 5 to 30 years. This long duration enables borrower to choose a repayment term that suits him the most. However, lenders usually give maximum repayment term to those borrowers whose collateral in the form of property is of higher value. But, it is the interest rate that is of main concern to a bad debt personal loan seeker. The lender offers bad debt personal loan at a higher interest rate, as risk potential in such loans is higher. But there is a solution to this problem. Such borrowers can extract a lower interest rate if they put down some more cash payment. So, one strategy is to save as much as possible for a down payment. This way the interest rate may come down to desired level. For bad debt personal loan seekers it would be good if they compare rates of interest of different lenders to get a rough idea of which lender has a competitive package for them. The interest rates are offered online by many lenders. Once you have compared the rates you can request specific quotes from a handful of lenders. These tips may be of a big help to borrowers who have bad debts and are looking for a new lender to finance their requirements. They can hunt for lower interest rate and larger amount as well. The Beautiful Absolute of Truth

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By Annette Bridges What is truth? This is not a new question. Perhaps the question’s most memorable voice was Pontius Pilot when he posed it to a silent Jesus. Probably most everyone would agree that much of early Christian literature was first collected and reported through oral traditions among early Christians. With few written documents. And written records found show that there were as many differing viewpoints among early Christians as there are today. Consequently, most historians recognize some embellishments probably occurred over time. As well as information left out. And some authors’ accounts destroyed. In fact, some historians have suggested that we have lost 85 percent of Christian literature from the first two centuries. And that percentage only refers to the literature that we know about. So our knowledge from the roots of Christianity may always only be in part. Do any of these facts impact our love and faith in the Bible and its validity? They don’t for me. That’s because I don’t believe the spiritual meaning of the Word is contingent on human details. For me, the spiritual sense can be felt in heart, regardless of details included or not. It does disturb me to think that anyone believed they needed to determine what I can know and understand as truth. For example, when I think of the various ancient religious writings that have been surfacing in recent years, what bothers me is that someone long ago decided I couldn’t read these writings and decide for myself what I wanted to believe. Or that someone thought they needed to shape or interpret truth for me and the rest of humanity for all time. Truth is what it is. Changeless. Eternal. Lies may be told and believed as truth for centuries. This doesn’t change whatever is the truth. New lies may be told today. These do not change whatever is the truth. I do realize that opinions and interpretations of what is understood as truth will be as varied as the number of individuals voicing their opinions and interpretations. This was true centuries ago and I suspect, will likely be true in future times as well. I think the quest to understand truth is an individual life journey. I can only answer what I myself understand of truth. I think the same is true for all who write about what they understand of truth. And even then, the challenge is in finding the words to express the spiritual meaning of that which is spiritual. Christian author, Mary Baker Eddy, wrote about this challenge. She said English as well as all other languages are “inadequate to the expression of spiritual conceptions and propositions, because one is obliged to use material terms in dealing with spiritual ideas.” So the search to understand truth continues. And in our search, we question, consider, ponder, explore the possibilities of truth and what it means in our lives. We want to know truth. We long for the most perfect and accurate truth there is in every aspect of our lives. Be it in science, manufacture, art, religion or history. Perhaps this is because of our innate spiritual nature. With a God of truth as our Creator, it would be natural for us to be drawn toward the nature of our source perfect truth. For us to desire to understand who we are and our purpose for being. Truth never changes. But clearly, our understanding of truth does. And it should. It’s called progress. Growth. And that’s life. Perhaps one reason for controversial responses to newly discovered ancient writings are because some details challenge truths humanity has longed believed. In my own search to understand truth, I am endeavoring to keep myself open-minded to truth’s infinite possibilities. I try to approach each possibility with reasonable consideration and exploration. Truth is what it is. Whether it is what I’ve always believed or something entirely different. I want to know the truth. Of truth, Eddy quotes Agassiz, the celebrated naturalist and author, who said: “Every great scientific truth goes through three stages. First, people say it conflicts with the Bible. Next, they say it has been discovered before. Lastly, they say they have always believed it.” So, I’ll keep on reading whatever my fellow truth-seekers write. We learn from each other. It’s all part of the journey to understand what is truth? Annette Bridges is a freelance writer and lives on a north Texas ranch with her husband, John. Calorie Counting Chart - 5 Steps to Getting the Results You Crave

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

By Colleen Langenfeld Have you tried different ways to manage your eating and not been happy with the results? While there are no shortage of ideas on how to lose weight, every person is unique and finding the weight management system that works for you may take some trial and error. Sometimes the most profound results come from the simplest sources. If you can add and subtract, you can use a calorie counting chart to manage your body weight. Success with such a chart can be an amazing and confidence-boosting achievement. I have personally used such a chart to lose twenty pounds so I know the concept works beautifully. Here are five powerful steps to using a calorie counting chart that can bring you measurable results. 1. Understand what you’re doing. Using a calorie counting chart to manage your body weight should not be about deprivation. Instead, use the chart to understand what you eat and when. Becoming aware of your food cravings and emotional eating urges is priceless information if you are serious about managing your weight. 2. Set yourself up for success. Don’t start using a calorie counting chart the month you have two weddings to attend, five luncheons, and are hosting a family birthday party. Give yourself a better shot than that. Carve out a calm food environment in your life for a few weeks so you can give this wellness experiment your undivided attention. 3. Time. Allow yourself at least thirty days of using this powerful tool before you re-evaluate. When I started using a calorie counting chart, I promised myself I would use it faithfully for at least ninety days. I could do something simple and healthy for ninety days, couldn’t I? It turns out, yes, I could. By doing so, I gave this system an opportunity to prove itself to me. I could always stop and go back to my old ways of eating after ninety days if I wasn’t happy with the results. Well, after ninety days I had lost twenty pounds. What more results did I need than that? (If you would like more ideas about how to use a calorie counting chart successfully, plus a free chart for you to use, please see the resource box at the end of this article.) 4. Find a wellness buddy. Support and accountability can mean the difference between success and frustration. Do yourself a huge favor and find someone who wants to get smart about their eating habits, too. Invite them to join you on a quest for healthier living. Using a calorie counting chart is a low-cost, simple solution to managing your weight, which makes it easy to share with a friend. 5. When you first start using a chart like this, I recommend you enjoy simple foods. You’ll need to keep accurate calorie counts, especially at first, and it’s easier to do so if you don’t have to add complicated recipes into the mix. Trust me, you can figure out your calories from any recipe (I’ve done it for a year and a half now), but give yourself the chance to walk before you run. There will be plenty of time later for five-star recipes. What is the real key to success using a calorie counting chart? Start slow, keep moving steadily forward, and give yourself the chance to become an ‘expert’ at this exciting lifestyle change. Remember the results are all about you! Get a Loan for Home Improvement & Repairs

Monday, January 28th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Vipul_J]Vipul J Living in the same house for many years can be quite boring. With an increase in the needs, you and your family must be looking for a bigger house. Moving into a new house can prove to be very costly. Instead of selling your old house and buying a new one, you may carry out repairs to your house or go for home improvement. Home improvement includes repairs as well as renovation. When you are on a look out for a home improvement loan, the most important factor that you must consider is the rate of interest. You must shop around to get a low rate home improvement loan. Compare the loan quotes offered by various lenders before applying for a home improvement loan. The rate of interest depends on several factors. When a loan is secured against some property, it carries a low rate of interest. The rate of interest also depends on the credit score of the borrower. If the borrower has a bad credit history, he is offered a loan at a high rate of interest. If you offer your house as a security to obtain a home improvement loan, the rate of interest depends on the equity in your house. If your home equity is sufficient to cover the loan amount, the lender will charge a low rate of interest. You may take out a personal loan to carry out home improvement. Personal home improvement loans are usually unsecured and are used for small repair jobs. If you are a homeowner, you can get a homeowners loan to carry out home improvement. Since a homeowners loan is a secured loan, it offers all the benefits of a secured loan. You can treat home improvement as an investment opportunity since it appreciates the value of your house. Home improvement is a very effective way of increasing the value of a house. When you undertake home improvement for the investment purpose, you must make sure that the cost of carrying out home improvement does not exceed the resultant increase in the value of your house. Ready, Aim, Fire…Oops…Where’s The Target?

Sunday, January 27th, 2008

By Patty Baldwin Everywhere you go on the Internet you find the words, “target market.” What do they mean? What does it have to do with you? Well it has everything to do with your success in sales. Let me give you an example. A few weeks ago an online entrepreneur asked me to review a direct sales presentation for him. Let’s call him “Joe”. His product and service is excellent. Top quality and performance, excellent customer service and support. The product will produce desired results for any business advertising online. In this particular case, Joe’s potential customer is in the furniture manufacturing business. The company owns a small chain of outlet stores and advertises on the Internet. Basically, an excellent candidate for Joe’s offer. Well, Joe sent me his package. In the offline world, it would have required UPS to deliver it with a hand truck! Now, that is an overstatement, but it consisted of a three-page cover letter, with four separate attachments and a CD presentation that he was going to mail as a follow-up. Here’s my response to Joe: “What a tremendous amount of work you have put into this presentation. Having been on the receiving end of proposals such as this, I must tell you that it would be the recipient of the “delete” key. Why? Too much to wade through. Too much for me to absorb. Too much for me to do. Nothing to compel me to read on. Having said that, let’s pretend for a moment that I am Mr. Jones. Where are the needs development questions? What tells me that you have done your homework and know about my industry? What are my problems and how will you solve them? How much does the average household spend on furnishings annually? (In the US it’s about $1,000) How are you going to help me capture a share of those dollars? How has the economy affected my business? What qualities separate my business from my competition? How extensive and how important are brand names to my customers? What are my specialty areas? What market do I target and why? Why do my customers keep coming back to my stores? What are some of the hot buttons or copy points that you might use to target Mr. Jones? What is his business terminology? Joe, here are two sites that can help you develop a more “targeted” approach to Mr. Jones: http://www.furniture-info.com/1061.htm http://www.furniturestatistics.com/statisticalreviewsales.html I hope this helps, Joe. Decision makers are bombarded daily and we must be ever diligent that we are focusing in on “WIIFM” (What’s In It For Me)”. Now, what was the message to Joe? Do Your Homework. Mr. Jones doesn’t give a rip about your product unless it can fulfill his needs, but first you have to know what those needs are. Joe’s presentation, which probably took him hours if not days to prepare, was a classic case of overkill. The two sites referred to would have given Joe all the ammunition he needed to prepare an effective presentation and in just a few short minutes. By the way, the research tools that I use to study markets, trends, and individual sites are listed below. Both are free to download and are priceless. http://www.copernic.com http://www.alexa.com Ready, Aim … Get Ready To Fire! Flying by the Chattering Class

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Peter_Shukla]Peter Shukla Imagine sitting comfortably on your flight. You have just had a relaxing glass of wine and are about to nod off till you reach your destination. A phone rings. The passenger sitting next to you takes his mobile phone out of his pocket, and starts to chat to a friend, negotiate a business deal or whatever! Welcome to the chattering class. Like it or not, the prospect of using mobile phone on the planes is closer than ever. OnAir, a company backed by Airbus has technology that allows mobile phone calls without interfering with ground based networks. Ryanair, Europes largest low cost airline has announced plans to equip its entire fleet of Boeing 737s with this technology to enable passengers to make in-flight calls. Air France is to do the same with its Airbus A318 planes. It is only a matter of time before other airlines follow suit. Why should airlines invest in this technology? They want a share of the phone call revenue. Ryanairs reasoning is that this will keep its fares down. Will people flock to airlines that offer in-flight calling? How much the passengers are likely to pay for the privilege of making a call even if the flight is cheap? Time will tell. Prices are likely to be on the higher side initially and they will come down in time. Surveys conducted recently suggest that a vast majority of people approve the idea of an ability of making calls from the plane while only around 54% business and 40% leisure travellers are likely to switch their phones on as long as call prices are under $2.50 per minute. Interestingly Europeans are much warmer to the idea of in-flight calling than their American counterparts. United and Delta do not want it, yet! The ability to make in-flight calls, and any airlines interest in this, is an interesting development. This is more so since Boeing recently scrapped Connexion, its impressive satellite based in-flight broadband service on its planes. The Europeans are likely to give a formal go ahead to in-flight mobile calling soon by start issuing frequencies and guidelines to airlines. I think that this service will more likely to be a success in short haul flights where people do not mind sitting next to a fellow passenger shouting into his mobile phone, however annoying it may be, as long it helps airlines subsidise their airfare. So expect your chattering class air ticket in less than 6 months. Bon voyage! Peter Shukla has started a website to compare virtually all mobile phone deals in UK. There are more than 20,000 deals on offer at any one time alone. The site does not sell any thing. It just compares deals to put you in the driving seat when aking a decision. The Beginner’s Guide to Permanent Weight Loss, Part 1

Friday, January 25th, 2008

By Charles Blain “The World’s Strongest Fat Burner” I remember one evening I was watching TV and flipping through channels until I saw a commercial that caught my attention. It was quite obvious why I would be interested in it because I was looking to lose weight at the time and I was being teased with what they called “the world’s strongest fat burner”. That commercial was for a diet pill, it had all the regular promises of “easy” and “fast” weight loss combined with the fact that you can eat anything that you want. I did not buy the product but it always stuck in my mind because of the claim of being “The world’s strongest fat burner”. After losing all the weight that I needed to and after educating myself about healthy eating and permanent weight loss, I came to find something else that is very close to being the world ’s strongest fat burner and I am here to reveal what that is to you. What I am talking about is water. If there is one thing that has the consensus of diet gurus and all the different weight loss programs out there, it is the use of water. You have heard all over the place that you need to drink water to help you lose weight, but: Have you ever wondered why? Have you ever asked yourself how does water help you lose weight? If you do not know how exactly, it’s not your fault. You see, nobody has a patent on water and it is something that is hard to mark up and make a ton of money from. There are not a lot of benefits for the weight loss marketers to taunt the virtues of water. People just know that water is important to weight loss, but since there is not a lot of money to be made out of water, marketers may make it seem like water is not as important to weight loss as say diets pills for example. Before I reveal to you why I think water is the “world’s strongest fat burner”, I first want to dispel the biggest myth about water. Some people do not drink enough water when they diet, thinking they will lose more weight if they don’t retain any excess water. However, this is a myth and just the opposite happens. If you do not drink enough water every day, your body may be storing water and fat that you do not need or want . Your body needs water and is sixty/seventy percent water. Nevertheless, if you do not drink enough water, your body thinks it is in danger and tries to hold onto all the water it can get. The water is stored between the cells and shows up as extra weight. Your feet, legs and hands may even swell up. However, when your body does get enough water, the extra stored water weight is released and you will easily see the difference on the scale. In addition, the more water you drink, the less you’ll eat. Water is nature’s own appetite suppressant. A glass of water before eating will help you feel full and eat less. You will also get rid of extra salt by drinking water (salt can also cause the body to hold onto water). Besides all this, there is another reason why I believe water is “the world’s strongest fat burner”, and it’s a shame that almost nobody talks about it. You need water for your body to burn fat. Here is why : You see, your liver is a fat burning organ. It is there to help you burn body fat; therefore, you need the liver to function at optimal level for the best weight loss results. Now, without water, your kidneys cannot do their job of eliminating wastes properly and your liver must then pitch in to help. While your liver is busy helping out the kidneys, the liver then cannot burn as much fat as it could, so some of the fat that would normally be used as fuel gets stored in your body as fat instead. Drinking more water helps your kidneys do their job and indirectly allows your liver to get back to its own job of turning fat into fuel. Now you can easily see why something as simple as drinking water would have more of an effect on your weight loss efforts than say a $60 diet pill bottle. Your next question might be, “How much water do I need to accomplish this?” I am sure that you have heard about the standard recommendation of drinking at least eight, 8 oz. glasses of water every day. However, this is just for maintaining normal body function on a regular basis. If you are looking to lose weight, you need to drink more than that. Have you ever wonder why eight glasses of water is the recommendation for everybody. No matter how much you weight or how much you exercise. This does not seem like a sensible advice at all. However, it is the general recommendation about water. Do you think a 120 pounds person needs as much water as 300 pounds person? My recommendation is to drink half your bodyweight in ounces of water. For example if you weight 200 pounds, your goal should be to consume about 100 ounces of water a day. Now, I have one last tip about getting more water into your system. If you are accustomed to drinking just one to two glasses a day, trying to change suddenly to 8-10 glasses a day is just a recipe for failure. Instead, try to improve to 4 glasses for the next 2-3 weeks and when you feel comfortable with that, you can move on to the next level until you can easily handle more than 8 glasses a day. Timely Counseling Can Save Your Marriage

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

By Robert Kokoska The sad fact is that far too many people wait too long before going for marriage counseling. Counseling has the potential to save marriages, by providing a space in which couples can explore their sources of conflict and arrive at a new understanding of their relationship and each other. Unfortunately, many people tend to hesitate before going into counseling. For some, counseling may even seem like an admission of failure. That’s truly unfortunate, because it’s far from true, but that perception can be very influential. Timely counseling can save your marriage - if both partners are commited to the marriage and to the counseling process. The time to seek it out is not after the damage has been done, and your marriage and home environment are becoming contentious and inhospitable. Rather, the time to take this step is as soon as you notice that issues are coming up for you, or communication is breaking down. As mentioned before, for counseling or therapy to be helpful, both partners must be absolutely commited to the process. They must be willing to participate fully, with the intention of improving and saving the marriage. If one partner has already detatched himself, mentally or psychologically, the counseling process willb e useless. At that point, individual counseling is usually what is needed, and the chances fo saving the marriage are slimmer. Of course, there are other actions you can take to save your marriage. Some couples are able to do this themselves, without outside help. Others get through difficult times with the help of family and friends. Some marriages are even helped by individual therapy - not just to help you separate if needed, but to allow you to enter the marriage more fully. For example, sometimes your experiences in a previous relationship can carry over into your present one, or a traumatic event from the past can affect the way you function today. Your marriage might be bearing the strain of these past events. Having the courage to face these issues might be what is needed to save your marriage. Ultimately, it comes down to your (and your partner’s) level of commitment to the marriage. If both partners are fully commited, they will do anything that is needed to make the marriage work. Usually, that means they will be successful. Most marriages can be saved, and nowadays, we have plenty of resources open to us to help us do so. Are you seeking a happier marriage? How To Make 20 Years Of Marriage

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

By Dale Mazurek In the day of internet at any given time you can find hundreds and hundreds of ads to help your marriage succeed. There are books, tapes, DVDs, counsellors and lessons of every different kind. I decided to write a short article on what I think has helped my marriage to succeed for the last twenty years. Dont get me wrong. I believe there is value in the information we find but I thought I would share what made my relationship so successful. These are in no means necessarily in any order. 1. Communication Communication is one of the most important parts in maintaining a successful relationship. It is important to always keep the lines open. You or your partner might not always like what they are seeing but its important to convey that to one another. Make sure the communication goes both ways though. It cant always be problems that youre communicating about. You have to make sure you communicate about the good things as well. 2. Honesty Lying is a great way to head a marriage into a disaster. No matter how big or small a lie is a lie. The marriage has to be open enough that you can convey anything to your partner. If you feel a need to lie then there is a weakness in your marriage. Once you start lying and get away with it then the lies will continue eventually leading to disaster and very possibly a break up. 3. Trust If you dont trust your partner then you have to figure out why and see if the issue can be resolved. If it cant be then the time has come for both of you to walk away. It is so important to have trust. You or your partner has to have time away from each other. Those are the times when trust is the most evident. If you cant let your partner go out for a night with his or her buddies without calling them on the cell phone all night or continuously wondering what they are doing then you better get this resolved. It might work for a while but eventually things will come to an ugly screeching halt. 4. I Love You This is a phrase I must have used millions of times in my twenty years of marriage. It is so important to tell your partner that you love them. After twenty years they know but still need to hear it. I never hang up the phone without saying it. I never go to bed without saying it. You cant be embarrassed to say those three words. Hell I have even yelt them out in the mall before more than once. 5. Show Affection In order for a marriage to last that long you have to keep the affection strong. You have to maintain a healthy sex life. If things go wrong there it is important to figure out why and deal with it. You have to be able to give your spouse hugs and kisses. And you have to be able to show your affection in public. I dont mean that you should act like a bunch of teenagers but on a walk you should still hold hands and be able to give each other a kiss. Dale has been happily married for twenty years. The Role Of EMR In Clinical Trials Management

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Prakash_Chakkunny] Prakash Chakkunny The pharmacy Industry has entered the enterprise era of electronic technologies for clinical development. Virtually all their clinical trials use electronic data capture (EDC). As Electronic medical records (EMR) become more prevalent in offices, Clinics and hospitals; clinical sites and sponsors work towards integrating the collection of Clinical trials and EMR data. There are two ways in which this can be done: Via Database Transfer From each site, the data from an EMR is extracted and transferred to a clinical trial data base. Since this method involves the mapping of database from one system to the other, sites have to first agree to share their data with the central database created for the clinical trial. Privacy issues of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) also create challenges making this a very unlikely approach. Via Content Labeling This is the preferred method, the transfer of data through a shared data content labeling standard is used for this method. The Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) has developed standards for data interchange and archiving. Using a transactional approach, data would flow from the EMR into an electronic data capture (EDC) system, or vice versa by using either the CDISC or HL7 standards. The EMR is a highly flexible system designed to accommodate the collection of data from patients with virtually any health problem, at any time. In contrast to this a clinical trial data collection is more highly structured because its intent is to capture specific information, for a specific purpose, at specific times. Since a clinical trial system may encompass a number of EMR systems but can only be connected to only one clinical trial data system, its more easier, if the data flows from the clinical trial data system (collected by EDC) into the EMR. If the flow of data were in the opposite direction, then each EMR system would require built-in case report forms and the capability to transmit the data to a suitable location in the clinical trial data system. The Road Ahead Eventually Electronic submission requirements for clinical trials data will become so pervasive that they will create a competitive threat for companies whoose enterprise technology does not met the challenge.
